At first， the spirit idols party experiences fear toward ”The Sacred Tree of a Curse.” Next， they go to ”The Vengeful Ghost of the God-Fox Shrine”， and they tremble to see the heads that have fallen from many fox-statues. Then， sudden tinnitus they hear! In the back of the shrine， there’s a vengeful-cave of a very fearful fox! They will be lucky if they don’t encounter and see fear of the animal soul… However， in the depths there is an origin of an evil spirit， a revengeful ghost fox with no head! Next， they visit ”The Shrine of the Malevolent Spirit.” Here， one of the members， Shouji is obsessed by the Malevolent Spirit. Next is ”The Revengeful Ghost Bridge.” It’s a really well known famous place of so many suicides. One of the members， Kawamura is obsessed by the suicide’ s soul! And like the last one， Shouji is obsessed by the suicide’s soul， too! At last， one of the other members， Stsukishiro is obsessed by it， too! The three persons get the soul-purification and mass for the dead， and go to next place， ”The Screaming Tunnel.” To their surprise， they hear a scream of a girl! Three persons have too much fear of it and run away for their life! However， real fear starts from now. Here is ”The Guardian Deity of Children without the Heads.” Suddenly， the recording machine bears some strange noise! They don’t realize that it’s an alarm bell of the evil spirits， but they step into it. Then， finally they see something that they shouldn’t. The member， Kawamura is snatched by a terrible spirit interference， and Kawamura sobs endlessly! Actually， this is a spot that our staffs of the work， ”The Prison Gate Island” persuaded the members who disliked visiting， and they are there at the end. Then， the members who are so tired out experience…

One day close to the new year， Yusuke， the husband， who has long wanted to have an audio room all to himself， moves to a new house which he has chosen half forcibly. In the basement is a drab room made of brick walls. Yusuke has a high hope to get the room renovated. Motoko， the wife， is not so happy with the bizarre air of the room. Motoko finds a dust-covered video camera. On playing back， there goes a strange woman， talking to the camera. It appears to be a video letter left by the former resident. Motoko feels a certain fear while drawn to her disjointed talk in the video. The couple then realizes a weird fact. The place the video was taken is exactly this room， and the time indicated on the picture shows the time of day when the couple has already moved in. In the picture， the woman keeps her talk and behavor just nonchalantly. It must be that an insane woman has sneaked into the house while the couple was away! To make sure， the man and wife goes out on a one-night trip， with a hidden camera running in the room. On returning， they hurry to view the video to discover a strange phenomenon here and there. The same woman is there. So， she must be in this room. Yusuke steps out of the room to report the case by phone to the police. Left alone， Motoko finds out the video restarts of its own to play. There appear the two of themselves jut entering the room happily. Motoko is confined alone in the room， then she is met by…!?

Yuri Shiraishi， a senior in college studying to become a child minder， has been working since her freshman days at the house of Aki Kobayashi， an elementary school kid， as a baby sitter cum tutor to gain experience in minding children. One day， Aki tells Yuri a weird story now rampant in her school. The story has stemmed from a real train accident which happened in a winter， where a girl was run over by a train， severing her body into two; upper and lower parts. The girl died in great agony， and her spirits were roaming with her upper body. Yuri， returning home， spends carefree hours with her lover， Kenji. And， the news on the TV reports an accident that is identical with the weird story Aki was telling. Ever since that day， Aki behaves in strange ways. Aki’s mother， Masami， says that Aki， suspecting Masami’s getting remarried， is just sulking. But Yuri feels uneasy for some reason. Everything starts with one telephone call…　One call of witness information of UMA (Unidentified Monstrous Animal) is urgently received to a desk of the examiner named Ayaka Tsuji in the Tokyo headquarters of the Unit of UMA Examiners. It’s said that an unidentified monstrous creature appears around Edogawa River in Matsudo-City of Chiba Prefecture. What kind of creature is that monstrous animal? The Unit of UMA Examiners starts an investigation about it right away. However， Tsuji examiner feels some doubt about an information she gets. It’s because Matsudo-City of Chiba Prefecture is located next to the Metropolis of Tokyo， and it’s hard to believe that a monstrous creature appeares in such a close place of the center of Tokyo. Does the monstrous creature really appear in there…? Although the Unit of UMA Examiners are having expectation and uneasiness， they rush to Chiba Prefecture. A person who welcomes the Unit of UMA Examiners is Emi Hirai local examiner who will support them for this investigation. Immediately， they start to examine from a witnessed spot. At midnight a cellphone rings ，indicating there is an incoming e-mail with a message to cerebrate birthday. It happens ten days later. It was 10 years since a girl committed suicide. Shizuko， her grandmother， shows her deep sorrow. Since that time Shizuko has kept praying for the girl every day to date. A woman comes to see Shizuko， but she gets terribly upset and dies because of a heart attack. At midnight Ishizawa’s cellphone rings， indicating there is an incoming e-mail sent from ” Φ .” It is 10 days before her birthday. She thinks of the e-mail as someone’s joke， but she dies in 10 days at home. This birthday e-mail apparently has a spell， and people are scared of receiving it. Mio Kurosawa (played by Yuka Ono)， one of the acquaintances of the suicide girl， makes a contact of her only close frined， Kana Matsushima (played by Haruka Ogura). Kana works for a publisher and independently investigates this case. She learns that there have been three victims by the mysterious birthday mail. As Kana explains what she learns to Mio， Mio starts to shake her body and assaults Kana! Mio， possessed by the soul of the suicide girl， says unbelievable things.

While Miki protects her， the water attacks Reiko. Without Reiko’s help， Miki and Hekiru get isolated. In the 11th hour Hekiru transforms into a monster. [Episode 4] A man in black is watching Hekiru， now a monster， from a distance. The Self Defense Force attacks Hekiru. Trying to save Hekiru， Miki and Reiko plead for the Self Defense Force to stop. The man in black assaults Miki and Reiko. He turns out to be an alien， wanting humans to kill Hekiru because she is their enemy. The Self Defense Force gets the target in range. Miki and Reiko must save Hekiru as the friendship between Miki and Hekiru takes turns.

As they follow a lead， it takes an unexpected turn. An evil spirit sealed in the mirror is unleashed and attacks them. But Hekiru saves them in the nick of time telling a tragedy about the spirit.
